Jacqueline Smith, Curator of the
Royal Crown Derby Museum, brings us news of an exhibition and a conference in 2014.
She tells us that 'We are working with
the University of Derby and Derby Museums & Art Gallery to host the touring exhibition Emmanuel Cooper OBE: A Retrospective'.

The conference is entitled Contemporary
Ceramics – Looking Back and Looking Forward and will take place on 21 February 2014. It is described as 'a day of debate, collaborations and visits to Royal Crown Derby, Derby Museum and the Emmanuel Cooper Retrospective'.
The conference day includes access to the collections at the Derby Museum and the Royal Crown Derby Museum, a visit to the Emmanuel Cooper exhibition and a drinks reception.
